Sept. 12 Grandparent’s Day—All grandparents admitted free with paid grandchild admission.
Sept. 19 International Talk Like a Pirate Day– Bring your best pirate voice and make a pirate hat or a parrot sidekick.

Tuesdays @ 11:30 pm, Little Explorers
Join us for special programs and fun activities every Tuesday. Activities are geared towards preschool aged children, but everyone is welcome! Free with museum admission.
August – American Artist Appreciation Month. You can become a famous artist as you try a new art form and learn about an American artist each week.
September —National Honey Month— celebrate the hard working bees that bring us honey by learning more about these important insects.

Wednesdays @ 3:30 pm, Art Time
Join our staff and create the special project of the week. All ages are welcome and the art activity will be available for all visitors to try until 4:30 pm. Free with museum admission.

Thursdays from 3:30 – 4:00 pm, Wacky Science
Come learn about our world through a range of demonstrations and science experiments. Experiments are chosen one month in advance, so feel free to contact us for more information. Wacky Science is geared toward ages 5-12 but everyone is welcome. Free with museum admission.
